OR project is packaging design fusion research combining augmented reality, typography and animation.
The project includes the design of three energy recovery smoothie products. The name OR comes from the word organic.
The central concept behind the design is the use of the enhanced capabilities that AR technology offers, as a natural evolution of packaging design. We are interested in combining the element of surprise and impressiveness with the advantage of providing a whole new set of additional information, thus creating a new kind of experience between the product and the consumer. To set an aesthetic limit to the infinite possibilities of augmented reality, we mainly implemented the design through different typographic manipulations and treats. Finally, we developed the corresponding OR application which currently runs on iOS devices.
